We all want clean water and vibrant beautiful areas to enjoy when we undertake activities in the marine environment. Being environmentally responsible is the only way to ensure these experiences will always be there to take part in. Thankfully, most marine outdoor education activities are low impact and provide valuable opportunities to educate students on sustainable practices.
In terms of current global agendas, environmental awareness is becoming centre stage and this awareness has spread throughout our communities. It is becoming apparent to a large portion of our society that everything we do has an impact on the environment, whether that is negative or positive. This includes our domestic life, school and employment and recreational pursuits.
