The Marine Park Exploration Tour combines a Discovery Kayak Tour with an exciting Snorkel Marine Park Tour to provide a kayaking and snorkelling eco adventure experience that is suitable for all ages.

Qualified kayaking & eco tour guides will expand your knowledge of the Marine and Coastal environments of the South Coast region.

You will paddle the beautiful Tomaga Estuary to the beach taking a light snack by the river. Then explore the rock shelves and underwater environments in sheltered Tomakin Cove before continuing the kayak to the final destination.

On the kayak you will pass coastal eucalypt and casuarina forests to the sound of the local bird chorus, pass through mangrove forests and over vast seagrass beds with their myriad of bird and marine species. Stopping to cross the important protective dune environments you stroll on the beach and across rock platforms looking at the variety of intertidal creatures before entering the underwater world. On the snorkel you will have the chance to meet many of the local fish and marine animals and invertebrates of the south coast such as nudibranchs, cuttlefish and docile stingrays along with a diversity of marine flora.
