Your professional SUP coach will take you to the calm waters of the Tomaga River and help you master correct posture, paddle strokes and turning, followed by a relaxed eco tour of the estuary as it winds inland towards Mogo.

Stand Up Paddle (SUP) is a fantastic watersport combining the skills of surfing and kayaking. This introductory lesson will teach you the essential techniques to become a competent and confident SUP rider in flatwater conditions, followed by a guided eco tour. All equipment is supplied and this activity is suitable for all ages 10 years and above.

The pristine Tomaga River divides the seaside villages of Mossy Point and Tomakin, and is located approximately 20kms south of Batemans Bay, on the NSW South Coast, only 2 hours drive from the ACT and 4 hours from Sydney.

On this cruisy tour your friendly SUP coach will introduce you to the coastal environment unique to the NSW south coast.

Expect to see a range of native birdlife, learn about the mangrove, salt marsh and endangered ecological communities of this pristine waterway. Marvel at the diversity of the native Australian flora and fauna found along the riverbanks, learning about the South Coast's bird, sea and plant life. Enjoy the outdoors and interact with nature, and if you are lucky you might encounter unique coastal wildlife such as sea eagles, water dragons and stingrays.
