Gary Traynor
Gary Traynor has a keen interest in the ecology and history of the Eurobodalla area. Apart from the local waters, Gary has kayaked in Europe - along the Rhine River; and in Papua New Guinea. Prior to joining the team of Total Eco Adventures; he served for over 21 years within the New South Wales Police Force and performed duties as an infantryman in the Australian Army Reserve.
He has a strong background in Emergency Management and it is through this service that he has developed an appreciation of our natural Australian wonderland. As such, Gary enjoys a physical challenge and exploring the attractions that our region has to offer; such as bushwalking and camping.
His interest in Tour Guiding is not just confined to the natural history of the beautiful South Coast region. His first guiding role was with the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and he also conducts tours across the rugged Kokoda Track in New Guinea.
